Azure Information Protection Toolbar issues “ADXTaskPane”

We had an issue recently with the Azure Information Protection (AIP) toolbar displaying outside of the Office 2016 application you are using. The Toolbar opens in a separate window named “AdxTaskPane”.

To resolve this please try the below:

  • Open the Office Application and navigate to File > Options > General > User Interface options
  • Select Optimize for compatibility (application restart required)
  • Restart Office
