Consultant – OSD/Client Management

Home based, with regular UK travel to customer sites

The Role
As a Consultant within risual, you will design, configure and implement cutting edge enterprise technology solutions to provide our customers with a technology foundation for success. With a clear focus on delivering the best value, you will work through the complete consulting life-cycle, including (but not limited to):

Customer liaison to project requirements, scope and integration with existing systems
Development, configuration, integration, testing, optimisation, implementation and debug of bespoke customer solutions
Testing of software applications or hardware devices that may be deployed to enhance solution
Resolve technical issues and offer proactive technical support
Development of tools that may be used by others to help provision, manage or troubleshoot deployments
Documentation of solutions to ensure support teams and other consultants can participate in support and onward development

This role is home based and will involve some travel to customer sites (approximately 50%), as well as remote project consulting work.

About You
You will have proven and referable experience of designing and implementing OSD/Client Management solutions including:

MCSE or MCSA qualification
Client OS deployment and configurations (including Windows 7/8.1/10)
Management of Client OS via Microsoft (Autopilot / SCCM / Group Policy)
Microsoft Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management
Application / Software deployment and application packaging
Windows Analytics
Active Directory / Azure Active Directory

You will have excellent communication skills, have the ability to explain complex systems clearly, and demonstrate a strong customer focus, involving managing customer and stakeholder expectations. In addition, you will have strong documentation skills and an ability to effectively problem solve, should any issues arise within your projects. An understanding and the application of security principles in cloud technologies is also required.

Business Analyst

Home based, with regular UK travel to customer sites

The Role

As a Business Analyst at risual you will work with a customer to understand their business objectives, processes and transformational requirements. The role is to ensure that customer’s projects deliver on the business transformation that is captured during the project initiation. This could include both technical and non-technical solutions.

The Business Analyst will often work within a risual project team and should be focused on supporting the overall objectives of the project. Therefore, they will need to effectively communicate with both customers and risual colleagues as well as third parties where required in order to ensure that the business aspects of a project are fully understood and embedded within the project delivery.

This role is home based and will involve some travel to customer sites (approximately 50%)

About You

You will have referenceable experience of performing business process health-checks and proposing improvements, working with software development teams through the full project lifecycle and working with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

You should hold, or be working towards, one of the following certifications (or equivalent):

• Chartered Institute for IT – Business Analyst
• International Institute of Business Analysis – Certified Business Analysis Professional

In addition, you will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal and be confident in communicating clearly with people at all levels of knowledge and seniority.

Project Manager/Engagement Manager

Home based, with regular UK travel to customer sites

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects full life cycle, building relationships with customer delivery teams and working with risual Architects, Consultants, other Project and Engagement Managers on customer site, and our Project Office at risual HQ. You will be accountable for the project and programme while creating delivery plans, as well as providing regular progress updates to the customer to ensure we are completing the project within budget, time and quality.

About You

You will have referenceable experience in a similar role providing full lifecycle delivery; formal accreditation in Prince2 or equivalent at Practitioner level would be preferable. You will have a highly professional approach with a core focus on organisation, leadership and management of any activities they undertake. A broad understanding of the Microsoft product set with any Microsoft technology implementations advantageous.

You should be able to execute such skills in a confident manner, effectively and clearly communicating both internally within risual and externally within customer working environments. An attention to detail and ability to accurately document and report on progress, risks/issues, actions and dependencies is essential.

Consultant – Platform Infrastructure
