Azure Site Recovery is a tool from Microsoft that is currently free for 30 days at no charge. Microsoft have allowed users to use this to migrate 64-bit versions of windows server, they have now released this for Windows Server 2008 32-bit applications to Azure.
By using this tool customers will be able to get an extra three years of additional support and security updates for their 2008 and 2008r2 machines in Azure. The end of support is set to happen 14th January 2020 which means customers who migrate will get free security updates up until January 2023. This allows customers to start to gain benefits of using the cloud as well as more time to upgrade their infrastructure.
