Immutable Storage for Azure Storage Blobs is now in Public Preview!
Financial service organisations are required to maintain business communications, in a immutable state for a certain level of retention. The immutable storage requirement isn’t just limited to financial organisations such as healthcare, media and insurance. Microsoft have released this feature to address this requirement.
This feature enables:
- Time based retention policy support
- Legal hold policy support
- Support for all Blob tiers
- Blob Container level configuration
