Are you ready for the GDPR legislation?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is due to take effect in May 2018. The GDPR Law will enforce new rules on companies, government agencies, non-profits, and other organisations that offer good and services to people in the European Union (EU), or that collect and analyse data tied to EU residents.

Did you know, 75% of all network intrusions are due to compromised user credentials? And, 80% of employees admit to using non-approved SaaS apps in their jobs?

It takes 200+ of days on average that attackers reside within a victim’s network before detection. With the new GDPR legislation taking place, a data breach must be reported to relevant authorities within 72 hours. The fine for breaching the GDPR will be 4% of turnover or 20m euro which ever figure is greater.

We are hosting a GDPR workshop in February to engage with you and provide you and your business the right information and support you need for the upcoming legislation. Join representatives from both risual and Microsoft as we discuss how to begin planning for GDPR, what business changes public sector organisations typically need to make, how to assess your readiness based on your current infrastructure and what solutions are a priority for you. This is an exclusive event with limited seats available – to find out more or register your attendance, click here.
