Probably what most SCOM Administrators have been waiting to hear for a long time… SCOM is now able to support PowerShell.
Based upon an idea from Wei Hao Lim, SquaredUp have now developed a free Management Pack that enables you to create Monitors, Rules, Tasks and more based on PowerShell scripts. This pack introduces new wizards in to the console making it really easy to choose a PowerShell based template and use PowerShell scripts in addition to the existing VB Script templates.
The Management Pack is open source and is available under GPL license, available at GitHub.
